How to remove acrylic nails

Acrylic nails are artificial nails that can be applied over nails or used as extension. Some people use it for styling and some uses it for lengthening their nails. There is no doubt that they enhances your’s hand beauty but irritating time comes when you think about removing acrylic nails because after two or three weeks when your nail grows you have to remove or refill them. To remove acrylic nails every time you have to go to saloon and have to pay for it and if you think to remove it at home there are chances that you may damage your natural nails. But don’t worry we will tell you how to remove acrylic nails at home without doing any damage to your natural nails.

First Method: Removing acrylic nails using acetone

Things you required for this method

• Pure acetone
• Bowl
• Plastic bag
• Cotton balls
• Cuticle pusher
• Nail polish remover
• Nail file
• Nail cutter
• Cuticle oil
• petroleum jelly

Steps

Step 1: Take water in a bowl and heat it up for 3 to 5 minutes so it become warm.

Step 2: Now remove nail polish by using a remover and then cut acrylic nails which are above from natural nails with nail cutter.

Step 3: Now buff the top layer of acrylic so it breaks because then its easy for acetone to remove it.

Step 4: Put enough acetone in plastic bag so your nails can completely dip into it and then put your fingers in it and soak it in the bowl of warm water. Remember to take off acrylic, your nails should be completely in acetone and water.

Step 5: After 10 minutes you feel that it is removing. Now take your hands out and get rid of  already removed acrylic using cuticle pusher and then again repeat step 4. After 25 to 30 minutes you watch that it is removed completely.

Step 6: Now buff your nails to remove any remaining acrylic and after washing your hand apply cuticle oil on nails to strengthen them

Step 7: Moisturize your fingers with petroleum jelly because acetone dried it.

Second Method: Remove acrylic nails using dental floss

Step 1: Find a person that can help you in this because doing it alone can be difficult for you.

Step 2: Now your helper take the piece of dental floss and from bottom edge of nail enter it in the space between your natural and acrylic nail.

Step 3: After that your helper have to move dental floss back and forth from bottom towards upward and pulling it up slightly during this. Continue it until fake nail is taken off.

Step4: Hey you have done and it is the easiest and less time consuming way to remove acrylic nails.
